Um, Big Hero 6 is a good movie. I suppose giving Ron's Gone Wrong a chance is out of the question? If AniMat does like it then it will come down to whether or not Sing 2 is a dud. That’s no excuse. Wish Dragon was a rip-off of Aladdin, and they pulled it off poorly. I just feel Ron’s Gone Wrong is far too similar to Big Hero 6, and even if it wasn’t, I’m still not that interested in it anyway.

I did see Ron's Gone Wrong just last night.
I have to say, I enjoyed it. I liked the story, the heart and the messages it seemed to go for.
For how I would rank it? I think I'll place it above Vivo.
And no, at no point did it remind me of Big Hero 6.

I’m guessing his review of it will turn out similar to what he said about The Mitchells vs. The Machines.

Here’s AniMatt’s take on Ron’s Gone Wrong:
Story: 6/10 Animation: 8/10 Characters: 6/10
Overall: 7/10 = 67%
So I guess it was above average to say the least. What killed it was the cliche story and the bland characters.
So now, here’s where he stands:
1. Raya and the Last Dragon - 90% 2. Luca - 87% 3. The Mitchells vs. the Machines - 83% 4. Vivo - 80% 5. My Little Pony: A New Generation - 70% 6. Ron’s Gone Wrong - 67% 7. PAW Patrol: The Movie - 67% 8. Wish Dragon - 60% 9. The Boss Baby: Family Business - 57% 10. Spirit: Untamed - 47% 11. The Addams Family 2 - 40%
So it looks the next one is going to be Encanto. If any remaining movie of this year has a chance at toppling Raya and the Last Dragon, it’s probably that one, but we’ll see.

The way I see it a 7/10 is "Good" so there's that.
The way it looks now, it will probably boil down to whether or not Sing 2 tops or flops.
That will ultimately decide whether Paw Patrol either makes or escapes his Worst list.

I will doing the same this coming weekend.
Then it's probably going to be a showdown for what will be the better Disney animated film: Raya and the Last Dragon or Encanto?

I’m personally going to stick with Raya myself. Encanto may end up being the more popular film, but I have a feeling it’s going to slip into overrated territory. Why would I choose a movie like that over a movie with a character as adorable as Sisu?

It may be a tough call.
We just got Encanto and it's Rotten Tomatoes score is very high at 92%. Its critical consensus is this:
Encanto's setting and cultural perspective are new for Disney, but the end result is the same -- enchanting, beautifully animated fun for the whole family.
I also just heard on Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade the commentators said they got to see Sing 2 and they loved it. Hopefully that's a sign of good things to come!

Okay guys I just came back from seeing Encanto. My thoughts? Well, here we go:
This movie is the second Lin-Manuel Miranda musical/animated film of 2021, after Vivo. While you don't need me to tell you that it was easily superior to that film, being that it's also the second Disney animated film of the year after Raya and the Last Dragon, I kinda have to put them against each other much like how you had to put Zootopia against Moana.
I will say, neither of the two disappointed me and I enjoyed both. However, I am going to say that I enjoyed the themes Encanto was going for and I appreciated the more subtle tone it went for, unlike how Raya made its points just a bit blatant. This movie also did not have a set comedy relief character, but I felt it was for the best they weren't trying to make a joke about the message they were going for.
So, as much as I liked Raya and the Last Dragon, I feel Encanto may have just edged it out.
