I think I'll revise Vlad's weaknesses and list them here.
As I said, his powers are flight, (properly-sized bat wings forming on his back), transforming into a shadow or in other words 'molding' with them at will, (though not always when in the shadows), and turning into a bat which he'll usually do at night as the vampire bat is nocturnal.
Weaknesses are, possibly clearings or open spaces in the daylight, sensitive sounds while a bat, and excessive use of the bat form may lead to him becoming an actual bat, (possibly stuck as one for a few days at least, meaning he'll need to feast on animal blood, and as luck would have it, he lives on a farm with cattle).
As for Marilyn's weaknesses, there is a constant sensitivity to loud noises, (which will disorient her obviously), and I think Paws mentioned motion impairment though I'm not entirely sure what she meant by that. ^^;

Well, she said the rp could involve either our heroes going against a singular antagonistic power, (whether one villain or a group of them), or simply helping around the area but I guess considering the powers, an antagonist would be useful. I have an idea of who could be used as the villain, but I think she might need a partner perhaps to take on this many heroes, (even if one of them was on her side). I'll give you a hint of who I'm thinking of; since I don't think she'll need science to acquires, (aside from improving/strengthening her abilities), her villain name would be Hex Girl I suppose.

I was admittedly expecting a dragon-based power for her, but maybe that's one thing I should consider for least maybe Vlad, idk.
Though Clayton pairing up with Odette does bring about an option. Shall we have it where, after a while, some of our heroes pair up with each other? I could see Vlad pairing up with Clayton though perhaps, given a LARGE being would provide a large shadow to hide in and therefore easy travel around the land, across/between objects and so on. (he'll obviously stay away from bat form if Clayton's large since I think the super bark would hurt a bat's sensitive ears since echolocation is how they get around).

Paws I thought Odette's power seemed familiar. I miss that show a little. if I didnt already have Vlad's powers thought up in general, I'd probably give him or another of my character the age powers I mentioned maybe with size thrown into the mix, kinda like how the more Mammoth Mutt inflates, the bigger overall she gets and she can control it. Edit: I think I'll scrap the age-and-size powers idea for a character of mine, (were I to not use Vlad), since I can't help but feel either Shadow or Bab will use the latter portion for one of their characters).

I think the cause of the powers is SCIENCE, so no need to explain it, except for during the rp of course.
I think it's okay that you use some powers based loosely on certain superheroes. Marilyn's 'seeing without sight' is based on Daredevil, (a blind lawyer who can see through hearing).

Well, the magical abilities perhaps, and of course the weakness to the demonic/vampiric powers. ^^;

So he's essentially a mix of the vampire from Skyrim and Neverdead, (you can lose body parts in the game but not die, heck you can apparently toss/roll your head a distance for a bit of recon).
Also, I think I'll name Marilyn perhaps just The Siren.

Perhaps turn into a shadow himself, (maybe a la Vashta Nerada, {as in an extra shadow when distinct 'vivid' shadows are present}, or go from physical being and disappear into the shadows, becoming a part of them but moving between them, even moving across short gaps between shadows).
And yeah, not really the growth. But okay. I think movement impairment, (if you mean like a bit of a handicap or something, if not please clarify), could work and so would loud noises. Though, in terms of her comparison with Daredevil's powers, I think a rain shower may make it harder for her to tell when someone is approaching but that's just my opinion.
So, I guess Vlad's powers would be more for stealth/recon I suppose, (if we were using villains to say the least), or otherwise deception but I think of him as a good dog regardless. (though there could be a possibility where excessive use of the bat form may leave him A, stuck as it, or B, when in it desiring to feed on cattle or bigger animals for…blood, {but not turning them into vampires obviously}. That could be another weakness of the bat form. Use it too often and you'll start to be more like the bat, perhaps stuck as it.
Also, whether experiment or accident, if the powers are given through science, I suspect at first if not for a while they'd be….'unstable' or not as easily controlled by the owner of the powers. (Except maybe marilyn's cause she just has to sing and listen ^^; ).
And I will admit that I do have a power in mind, but no idea who'd use it, (outside of Annabelle and Abby but they're not allowed), the power to say the least is after some time being able to age or regress at will or least when most convenient. (Like perhaps, regressing to look cute so as to lower the guard on foes that are easily distracted or not all iron, or maybe aging to an adult to perhaps escort the group someplace when the others aren't using their powers yet, {and therefore to ward off any humans that may try to ruin their progress or disrupt the group}). I feel another power would be necessary for whoever has it though. I wouldn't mind switching out Vlad for someone to have that power though. But again, not sure who could use and whether or not it'd be allowed.

So, in other words, no Annabelle and Abby. Fine by me though the only idea atm I had in mind for Marilyn was uhh..well essentially Daredevil's ability. Blind but through hearing, able to 'see'. If any of the participants have a better idea for a main power, and perhaps a Weakness, for a blind female Dachshund, go ahead and tell me.
Though as for Vlad, I do have a basic idea in mind. Hero name is "Dark Angel", (he can fly but with wings, more bat-like wings than the typical angel wings), with his main power perhaps relating to shade/shadows or just night in general. Though if allowed, I may add bat, (vampire bat), transformation to his list but that ability would be restricted to night since bats are nocturnal. A minor setback however. No exact idea on weaknesses though aside from well, clearings or areas with few shadows. I'll obviously need help developing his super powers. (Kind of the reason I suggested the scientist pups listing the powers. ^^; ). But regardless of this, he IS a good guy
Edit: I did think of an idea for a possible power of Marilyn's, or maybe two. The first one is size changing, (leaning more towards growth though), and the second one is, when she means to use it, a singing voice like that of a siren but for the most part, perhaps will only work on those she considers as threats or foes to peace, (to say the least, it would bring forth a REAL QUIET Riot *rimshot*
Honestly, I would like to at least have some assistance on making these two, at least Marilyn. (Especially her weaknesses since I can't think of any.)

Also, a bit of an idea for the powers, rather than decide them ourselves, we perhaps let others decide them, such as Sandy, (or General), should the powers be from Sandy's science, intentionally, as an experiment, or not, as an accident.

I'd suggest Heroes vs villains perhaps but maybe we could do one where members of the farm, (even bad ones like Diana), help around the area. I'm fine with feral.
I'd probably join using Marilyn, Abby and/or Annabelle, or perhaps Vladimir.

Daytona if I'm correct is in Florida, oui/yes/si. What hotel are you staying in btw? (I take it perhaps the one with the giant Dalmatians? ) Also, take LOTS of photos, (not just ones of you on rides, btw, but perhaps scenic ones, (like of Spaceship Earth, the pavilions, etc), or more comedic/light-hearted ones, (like, if I recall from my trip, in Hollywood Studios there was a small area where there was a light pole, (more contemporary/classic light pole), with an umbrella next to it at an angle. Ring any bells of a certain film?

I'm finally watching the MLP:FIM season 5 opener on Demand and I can say several things.
-The village is CA-REEPY as Hell with all those forced smiles and the "Welcome" greetings, (like a Mannequin to Markiplier). -The Staff of Sameness is in short a branding tool, (like one used for certain more traditional cults or the branding of.....bulls or other quadrupedal livestock used in shows of sorts), but the process is essentially, given the pain involved, skinning and then branding. -Cold War America could've used this episode as propaganda against the mere ideology of Communism, and, (even though this is a 'softened' form of it), I wouldn't really blame them. This depiction of it displays a loss of skill, individuality, interest, etc. Anything that would make a citizen stand out against the rest of the community EXCEPT the one in charge.
(Edit from here on out on this post. 6:18 pm and in the middle of the 2nd episode.)
-Not entirely surprised that the reason the mayor stands out is because she didn't use the staff on herself, (she would have had to brainwash herself somehow, unless she looked in a mirror which could work to an extent). -"Clever girl" in regards to said municipal ruler, considering she's smart enough to know someone's a weak link in her community and perhaps, now that the mane six have seen the vault, they'll try THAT route to getting the marks. -Overall, the town is like an asylum with ONE ward and all patients becoming part-ward and part-patient, and it's fitting as to why the leader set the village in such an isolated, barren landscape; lack of beauty and awe in your surroundings would assist in a brainwashing setup that speaks the ideology of creativity, individuality, and absolute skill as being 'obscene' and 'evil', for there is little inspiration from such an area. -It seems the villain's motive are simply to acquire both WORLD DOMINATION, ("Of Course!"), but also to fool EVERYONE into LOVING her, like a GOD. She's likely a neglected and/or abused pony. -And that one statement is true, "Either we're all equal, or none of us are." Either we are ALL the exact same, (personality-style, skill-level, etc), or we are all special, skilled, diverse individuals with comparisons and contrasts of course, but 'tis better for the latter. (So....yeah, Capitalism is actually a better setup than Communism even in theory. ^^; )
