I loved the original My Little Pony continuity. I didn't really care about Tales or the G3 movies. I didn't think they were horrible (except for the G3.5 "episodes"), but unlike with 101 Dalmatians, I don't consider myself a fan of everything My Little Pony. I do like toys from every version, though, minus the Newborn Cuties which aren't cute and that line of ponies with eyes that looked swollen from G1. At any rate, I first became really interested because of the G1 movie because I identified with Draggle and was around her age at the time the movie came out, and nothing in the My Little Pony franchise has yet topped the original TV specials, movie, in-series sequel, and '80s series to me.
I thought G4 was a rival to G1 at first, and from what I know of Lauren Faust's original plans, it could have been. I do like a mixture of adventure stories and slice-of-life, but I guess what I don't like about G4 is that it's too much slice-of-life and not enough adventure story arcs... and if it were a number of other series, I would be judging it differently, but when I think of My Little Pony, I think of magical creatures in a magical world they need to save almost every week. I don't care about how "girly" any version is. I am girly. I just care about story and characters. I'm absolutely looking forward to the Season 3 premiere of G4. The premieres and Season 2's finale have been my favorite episodes. I like Season 1's finale, too, though. I like most episodes, I just wish there were more adventure arcs because, to me, Equestria ought to be My Little Improved Narnia.
My oldest daughter is going to be Human Pinkie Pie for Halloween this year, by the way. She thinks I'm most like Rarity of the Mane Six. I can see it.

I'm not a gamer, never was, and I still want to see it. The plot and characters seem great!

Good characters, good acting, great animation, mediocre story. The original director was left, though, so that's probably why.

I don't think I could have worded that worse if I tried.
I did try to word that badly.
Edit: I changed the title from "My Radical Thread of Being Cool" to "Friendly Cruella's Thread". Still think the first title is funny, but maybe people weren't reading this thread because they thought said title was serious.

I'm psychologically disabled, and I respectfully disagree.
I can see why Toys 'R' Us would use the term differently-abled. Kids pick up on negativity quickly and internalize it, so trying for positive spins in advertising to children makes sense to me. That said, I find it weird that Toys 'R' Us markets specific toys to disabled children that they might or might not be interested in. Disabled children are individuals as much any kids are individuals, and I would be pretty insulted (all right, I would be angry) if I were a kid and people gave me "special toys" instead of just toys, especially at the cost of never getting anything I actually wanted. I know that's not Toys 'R' Us' intention, I think their intentions with the matter are sweet, but a number of people translate things in an insulting narrow way and make kids feel bad for it.
As for the phrase differently-abled when used more generally, I don't like it. Can disabled people be differently abled? Oh yes. But to use that term in place of disabled implies that we're also not disabled, that we're just different. This is inaccurate. We are disabled and we can be, most of us probably are, also differently abled. It shouldn't be seen as an "either/or" situation, and a whole lot of well-meaning people do see it as an "either/or" situation.
It seems a lot of people get the idea that disabled means unable... to do anything. That's not what it means. I don't like how I had to lie just today by telling someone I don't think of myself as disabled, because given the circumstances of the phone meeting I was in, that stranger who bought into that line of thinking wouldn't have had heard me out otherwise. I don't think of myself as incapable and helpless, but I do think of myself as disabled, and there is a difference. I'll always struggle harder than most people with some things. That doesn't mean I can't do things, though there are some things I can't do and some things I can do sometimes and not on other times, and being able to do any number of things doesn't mean it's not hard for me to them. To use a mild example, I'm dyslexic and almost no one can tell. What they don't see is how my brain works overtime to compensate, and when I do mess up, I'm just seen as ditzy.
The phrase differently-abled doesn't offend me, but I don't see it as accurate. The word disabled shouldn't be humiliating, and the fact that is used to be humiliating should be changed. The word retard has devolved into just being an insult. This coming from the Family Retard of her extended family, the family I was born to isn't very nice. My mother never did believe anything was wrong with the word retarded. She grew up in a different era, but she was never affected by the word herself and I don't see how she could ignore how obviously it became nothing but an insult.
Disabled out to be saved and used as a means to educate, not turned into the next version of retarded. We're running out of words in the English language!
I also think the word crazy can be reclaimed, for what it's worth, although I see a whole lot less of people doing that. Similarly to disabled, every single thing I do is not crazy even though parts of my brain can be defined that way.

I am a fan of the 101 Dalmatians books, movies, TV show, and so forth. Cruella was the first Disney character I identified with and every version or new movie has continued to give me some things about her to identify with, although I promise you I'm really quite nice. I try to be quite nice, anyway, and hopefully I succeed! Last week and a half ago, I bought this limited edition doll. Pictures don't do her justice. She's awesome and I like to think she's the best in the Disney Designer Collection, of the villains and the princesses both. I also bought this shirt earlier in the month, and I'm going as Cruella for Halloween and this will be by far not the only time I've dressed up as her. Some of my children are going to be dalmatians for Halloween, to match me. I have a lot of Cruella stories and those are just this month's. I also love dogs! I haven't had a dog for a long time, because the dog I had meant a lot to me and I worry that any other dog I have I'd be forever comparing to her, Rose by name, and that doesn't seem fair. But I love dogs and love animals in general. I'll get a new dog if my kids ask. I'm a vegetarian who tries to be a vegan and probably fails at being a vegan somehow or another, but I try - and don't worry, I'm not preachy about that. There is a lot I love about the 101 Dalmatians franchise. I love Cruella's character for multiple reasons, I love Anita and I think Anita and Roger have among the best chemistry of any Disney couple, Cruella and Anita's friendship has its similarities to a friendship I have had with someone since childhood, I love how strongly Pongo and Perdita fought for their children and how much they love their children, I love a lot of the characters' humor and senses of adventure, and it's just a really great franchise all-around. Really personal time now: In a way, I've become more like Pongo and Perdy than I imagined I would. I have eleven kids in my household, ages zero (b. 01/2012) to almost eighteen (b. 11/1994). Most are my kids, some biological and some adopted, and three are my sister's younger kids. (My sister had four kids, not another football stadium. The oldest niece doesn't live with me.) I'd actually love to have more. I might be too old to have more, but we'll see. I'd take in everyone who needs a home if I could. Obviously I can't do that. I don't know how I handle eleven as it is. They love me, though, and I'd do anything for them. I was raised to think of myself as not the type of person who should have kids, and I love that I've proven that wrong and that I can be the type of parent I never had. It was always my secret dream to be a mother. I can't believe I found someone who actually wanted to have kids with me. Crazy man. By the way, I ship Lars and Cruella from the animated movie sequel. If Cruella hadn't gone back to wanting to skin puppies, they'd have absolutely worked out.Referencing my kids is going to be inevitable, as they're the best that's ever happened to me. I'm really awkward and silly and loud, and part of being really awkward is not knowing if I'm ever saying the right thing and not knowing how to end long introductory messages. I guess I'll end this here. Thanks for letting me on here and I hope my giant wall of text didn't scare you.

The poll let me vote no problem. I voted for Cadpig. When I had a dog, she was a small but very smart runt.

Well, you could just ask another question instead of giving both a question and answer, but I'm sorry if I messed this up.

A: Isn't everyone slightly aware of the audience? Even not counting the "making of" episode, everyone seems to be somewhat genre savvy at various times. Cadpig is very very smart, so it would make sense that she would be most prone to appear to notice the audience. Q: I don't really have a question. I'll edit this if I do, but don't worry about going on without me.

It might not even be Disney causing this YT problem. I remember YT taking videos off because someone calling themselves Hasbro (who didn't so much as spell Hasbro correctly, they spelled it something like Hapso) told them to.

Which one is your MSN address? I don't use MSN anymore, because I've been unable to reinstall it after my computer's batteries melted in Sumer 2011. I actually forgot my own administrator password, so the computer is stuck in 2006.
