Well, Spot should be able to handle being a Tree Topper for this years Christmas. XD And yeah, a simple leg injury won't keep me from celebrating Christmas.  But I'm guessing Derpy is celebrating Christmas in her own way, by sitting on a tree. |

I think that is actually what happens, in the Episode,
He looks under Mimikyu's look, and that is how he gets like that.
Jessie & James are able to wke him, though.
I think Jessie even catches Mimikyu, in anothr Episode.

Yeah I've seen screenshots from the Alola saga, and Jessie does catch Mimikyu with James' luxury ball.
