Ooooooooh, after Eight Months, since the Season Climax, "101 Dalmatian Street" is now Officially on Disney Plus, in the U K!
Though, some thing tells me that may have some thing to do with how Disney Channel U K has Close, with Disney Plus being where Disney Channel Shows shall be aired.
It does make me wonder, though; Does that mean, should we get a Second Season, they shall upload the Episodes directly to Disney Plus?
Shall they also upload numerous Episodes at once, or shall they do it on a weekly basis, like "The Mandalorian" or "Muppets Now"?
What do you think of this Information, Pups?

I doubt they’ll upload the episodes one at a time, bab, since it’s not a fully-exclusive Disney+ series, especially not in the UK. I don’t know why everybody keeps assuming that’s the case for everything on Disney+. We’ve been over this a million times already, so how do you keep missing it?

As far as I know, we still have no updates on the status of this show.
According to Wikipedia (even though I know it’s not a reliable source), the crew working on the show was planning a second season, but Disney has not renewed the series as of yet. I’m sure part of the reason is the pandemic.
If it turns out the show is canceled, then so be it. This won’t be the first time in history a cartoon lasted only one season. Shows like “The Wuzzles” and “My Little Pony Tales” were only one season wonders. Even recent shows didn’t make it past one season; “Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own” unexpectedly paused after its first season and was left in production limbo for almost two years before it was finally confirmed cancelled.
So yeah. It’s possible we may not get a second season to this show despite its fanbase and exceptionally high ratings.

As I said months ago, there was only ever one source that implied season two existed, and that was a small blurb on the website of one of the writers that was later removed. The fact that so much of the crew has moved on strongly implies that there will not be a second season. The pandemic would have, ironically, increased the chances of the show getting renewed. Animation is the one sector that can have full production even during lockdowns, since it's easy for staff to work from home. Pretty much all of Disney's live-action productions have ground to a halt, but their animated stuff is continuing with only minor setbacks. But it looks like Disney had other plans and Gigglebug is now working on a cartoon for Disney+ instead of 101 Dalmatian Street.

Even if it doesn’t get renewed for another season, the series did at least have an exceptional finale, even though it had so much potential for more adventures. Still, just like when we were waiting for it to come to the US, they’re still telling us absolutely nothing about it! The UK is really the only country where it is really popular, whereas in all other parts of the world, it’s relatively unknown, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was for sure canceled.

I would be completely unsurprised if Disney just dropped the show and never even made an official announcement of it being canceled. That's about how corporations treat shows that aren't amazingly popular.

Their only source is the writers who later edited their webpage to remove any reference to season two. As for a cancellation announcement, networks don't normally announce that shows are cancelled unless they get a big series finale. Shows that get quiet deaths just disappear one day with little fanfare. All of the tea leaves indicate that the show is over and that there won't be another season. |

I do hate to tell you this but those tea leaves are wrong as this show's going to get a second season, as I predict this show's 2nd season will be announced at Disney's investors day event 3 weeks from this coming Thursday and by the way they're still working on this show as the show was of course renewed for a 2nd season before the show started in March of 2019 which means this show's going to have a 2nd season. |
