Eep, just wanted to let you know that I'm in band camp now! I'm home but my first day was today xD it was Superhero Day and I dressed up as a Super Taco with a taco costume and a Phantom of the Opera cape, both owned by my cousins. Tomorrow is Look Like Someone in the Band Day, and a bunch of people are planning to dress like my band director.
I'll be able to crank out a reply tonight but please skip me for the rest of the week in the RP I'm currently in ^_^

Appette finished filling up the car, putting the pump back and smiled at Saturn.
"Ready to go?" she asked. Saturn nodded in approval, and the two walked into the store together.
"Okay, now I'll go pay for the gas," Appette said, a finger tapping against her chin, "and you can go to the bathroom if you need to. Then, I'll go, and once I'm out, we can go get some more snacks and drinks."
"You got it!" Saturn replied, and she turned around and walked into the restroom. After a few minutes, Saturn was out and Appette was in. Saturn browsed the bags of snacks, picking out some bags of candy and some bottles of soda as well. Appette exited the restroom and met up with Saturn. The two then began to choose which packs of gum they wanted, and as soon as their decisions were made, Appette paid for the food and drink.
The two were back outside, putting the drinks and snacks away. Saturn opened up her package of gum and began to chew a piece. She opened the car door and went back in, while Appette slid back into the driver's seat.
"Are we ready to leave?" Saturn asked, looking at the other cars.
"Let's wait a bit until Tony starts to lead the way again." Appette replied, adjusting her mirrors and putting her sunglasses back on.

Giving a notice in advance, because I'll forget to do it otherwise.  It's that time of year again, folks! That glorious week when I head back out from my vacation house and endure the all-day stress known as...BAND CAMP! I still have a few more days until the actual date I have to leave, though. I'll be here all day tomorrow and for most of the day on Saturday (as Saturday night I'm going out to see one of my friends in a play). I'll be here most of the day Sunday as well, but on Sunday night, I'll be back out in my hometown. Band Camp is the usual 8 to 4 schedule, all day, with me being gone on Tuesday and Wednesday nights as well to decorate T-shirts at my section leader's house. Aside from that, I have some schoolwork I need to get done in the evenings, and my sister and I only have one router cable to share between our two laptops. Please skip me in the RP's I'm in during this time, unless I post otherwise. Odds are I won't be able to reply unless I get lucky enough to get on around the time of my turn. |

I'm planning to revise him, as he never got fleshed out like I had wanted him to. I'm still on the fence as to whether I want to keep his name as "Snapshot" or just make it a nickname.

"Hi, Flo!" Saturn greeted her friend, smiling.
Appette looked up from the pump and smiled, waving a little.
"Saffron," Appette asked, "after I'm done, would you like to go into the shop and stock up on some things?"
Saturn nodded eagerly, adjusting her shirt sleeves and smiling. "Sure thing! We can get some more drinks, and maybe some packs of gum, too!" The blotchy-spotted pup rocked back and forth on her heels, waiting for Appette to finish filling the car up so they could go in.

Wait, Idina Menzel is in Frozen? As in, the original Elphaba in 'Wicked'? Something tells me, Shadow will like this news, eh? B3 Yep, she's going to be Elsa :3 I love every star they've been able to get into the movie. Josh Gad is a cutie pie, Idina Menzel has the voice of an angel, and Jonathan Groff is also really adorable. And they're all great singers, so I think it's going to be a pretty good musical. |

By the stuff Disney's website is releasing about "Frozen," this looks a lot better to me than it did about two months ago. It looks like a pretty good roster of characters, and with three Broadway stars under their belt (Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff), I think it'll be good for a musical.

I always remembered LPS being a female-oriented toy line, so for me, it makes sense that it's a female-oriented TV show. I've only ever seen...maybe half of Buttercream's full episode, most of the pilot, and the full things of "What Did You Say?," "Dumb Dumbwaiter," and "Penny For Your Laughs." I can see how it has the gender-neutral quality in the later episodes. Still not my most favorite idea of how to turn the toyline into a TV series (I still don't think it should have been a series at all, mostly because of how I used to make up my own names and such with the toys, but anyway), but it's certainly not the least enjoyable thing on The Hub. I at least liked the episodes that I saw.

The silver Honda stopped off at the same gas station that Tony's Camry was parked. Appette got out, picking out a pump to fill their car with. Saturn got out as well, pulling off her hoodie to reveal her red T-shirt underneath, and stretched her arms and legs, her tail wagging. "It feels good to take a break for a little bit!" she said, parting her jaws in a huge yawn. She spotted Flo and Tony by the Camry and waved over to them, smiling.

I saw the newest episode, mostly because I wanted to get a good idea of what Rebound's voice sounded like before I made the decision to use her as my character's VA. I at least give the series credit for making the whole Kennel Kittens thing clever and having them all be voiced by the same VA's as the Pound Puppies. I also liked how their personalities are a little different than the Pound Puppies', such as how Ace had a harsher attitude towards the SSPC. Maybe that's just me, though. In any case, I think they should be used sparingly, but I'm kind of glad they weren't just written as one-off's, as it sets up the series for some good cat-centric plots.
