On Trey's Post, Isn' Rainmker the Studio who mde Beast Wrs, Al the Barbi Films and Escpe From Planet Earth? With Lupus post; The Voice thing is kind of a nt pick, I shall admt, considering that many Films and Shows do that, and there are reasons as to why one may do that. I remember hearing of the Books. From what I hear, they hypnotse their Principl in to thinking he's a Super Hero, they mde, and there are Evl Toilts, or some thing? I am also checking on Animation Films, this year, and it seems there is also a Film about Paul Bunyan, A Hy Arnld Film, and I think at Christmas, there is a Film about the Dnkey of the Nativity. It also seems to have a lot of Voices in it, such as; Keegan Michael Key, Kristin Chenoweth, Zachary Levi, Oprah and Christophr Plummr. You hear of those Films, Pups? Yes bab. Rainmaker Entertainment was the animation studio that gave us that show, and the Ratchet and Clank movie. It almost seems like there is a trend between years for animated feature films. Case in point: 2011: Okay year. 2012: Great year! 2013: Bad year. 2014: Great year! 2015: Not much of a year. 2016: Great year! We are probably in another not-so-great year. Here's my ten cents on that... 2011: I disagree. There wasn't much to get out of this year. 2012: I somewhat agree. We did get Madagascar 3, Brave, Rise of the Guardians, and of course, Wreck-It Ralph that year. 2013: I disagree. We got Despicable Me 2 and Frozen, which were both awesome films, but the rest were sort of mishaps. 2014: I strongly disagree. The only good movies to come out this year were a Big Hero 6 and HTTYD 2, and even though most people don't count it, Rainbow Rocks. The Lego Movie was overrated. Everything else from this year just plain sucked. 2015: I agree. There wasn't much to come out of this year other than the two Pixar films. 2016: Definitely agree. Lots of great animated films cam from this year, but also a lot of bad ones, but they seemed perfectly balanced. As for this year, I don't think it's going to be all bad. We still got Despicable Me 3, Coco and the MLP movie to look forward to. You forgot to mention 2010. That was definitely a great year: Despicable Me, Tangled, HTTYD, and of course, Toy Story 3.

We'll see; AniMat did say Lego Batman was good if I'm correct, and there is DM3 and...Captain Underpants but again I'm just listing the ones I'm hopeful for

I don't know. A movie about a toy that encourages your imagination and was popular ever since 1949 versus a movie about some weird horse-people? I'll take the Lego bricks.
I'll also add that ParaNorman was a better movie than anything in Madagascar.
I will admit I had negative feelings about Captain Underpants but now... we'll see.

I know it seems like a long stretch for animated films this year but Captain Underpants is finally coming on June 2.
Hopefully it'll be good.

I've personally had doubts about the Emoji movie from the beginning, but I just saw the official trailer for it yesterday, and now I have even more doubts about it. I can see that AniMatt is ready to give this film his Seal of Garbage, but something tells me it's going to get a big fan base, and possibly a sequel.

Another thing I found out is Ferdinand is planned to be released the same day as Star Wars. I just know it'll get shunned at the box office at that rate, and I have a feeling BlueSky will likely postpone the release date because of that.

I did get to see more trailers for Captain Underpants and while I was working I saw a few of the books.
In all honesty it doesn't look like it will be a bad movie just... strictly for the under 10 crowd.

That's kinda the point of the entire series and the movie; it's a strictly-children's book series. I know because I read it when I was younger.
I am a little interested in seeing it if only for nostalgia though.

I just saw a recent trailer for The Nut Job 2. This sequel is going to be introducing a new character named Mr. Feng, a dangerously-strong mouse who seems an awful lot like Snowball from "The Secret Life of Pets", plus he's going to be voiced by Jackie Chan. It sounds to me that by trying to rip off another character from a good movie and having him voiced by a big name celebrity sounds like they are very desperate to make this movie a success, but I have a feeling it's not going to work.

Was anyone really demanding another Nut Job? It was bad enough we had one. Two is just disgusting.

I still don't see how everyone could tell from a mile away the first movie was going to be garbage. It's like a reversal of the recent Disney movies that were masterpieces like Toy Story 3, Zootopia and Moana.

I was away for its release but we now have Captain Underpants: the First Epic Movie.
The reviews are generally good and for right now the guy the lewtoons ranked it under The Lego Batman Movie but higher than Rock Dog.

I predict AniMatt will give it his Seal of Approval. We'll see if he does this Friday.
