Now that I don't know.. it could've been a dubbing error (since 4Kids is that stupid XD)

Show: Deadliest Warrior Episode: IRA vs. Taliban Reason: Due to its terrorist theme, this episode was not broadcast in the UK.

I remember a couple of Pokemon eps that were banned Show: Pokemon Master Quest Episode: The Ice Cave! Reason: the episode featured Brock coming down with flu like symptoms which reflected Anthrax as a result the ep was banned. I read on Serebii.net that this ep was banned because they made Jynx's skin black instead of purple, which in turn, caused a racial stereotype. Well, what do you know? I guess there are many reasons!

Sounds like an interesting idea to discuss! =3 Yeah, i know this episode. I actually think they thought too hard on that. I mean, if it was two windmills standing next to each other and two planes crashed with explosions, and then there was a giant smoke cloud with the windmill coming down and death occuring, maybe. But since the tower didn't collapse nor did the plane explode or any death occur. I find it disappointing, we lost a VERY Good episode of the Series =3 That & "Prima Dog" were Very good episodes =3 So it wasn't terrorists flying plan into a building, it was a giant jellyfish! For crying out, it's a Giant monster attack, of course buildings are going to get destroyed. By that logic, almost every single Godzilla movie or episode to that Power Rangers thing, should be banned! o.O Woah, that's a bit of a stretch. I mean, there is a Disney ride called "Tower of Terror" In fact there are 4 of them across the world. Doesn't mean Disney would ban people from riding it due to 9/11 references. No offense, bab, but I think you're digging way too deep into this. The reasons for banning an episode don't have to be 100% precise.

I just saw these guys commentate to the Mario Brothers Movie. And while that film is pretty bad, I can see a reason that they would ban showing that movie.
Within the Alternate World, Koopas Headquaters are within the World Trade Center. One of them being all normal (aside from looking more sinister) while the other is...well...Semi Destroyed. And then when the worlds begin merging, there is a shot of the World Trade Center morphing from it's normal look to that, Semi Destroyed look...
Yeah...Probably too risky to show on Television today. o.o However, fortunately that Mario Brothers thing was a bad movie, so their loss is, our gain. X3

Show: The Powerpuff Girls Episode: The Bare Facts Reason: This episode wasn't actually banned, but it was censored. This episode contained some footage of Mojo Jojo attacking the Powerpuff Girls with nunchucks. Nunchucks are considered illegal in the UK, so the UK version of this episode had those scenes edited out.

Show: Darkwing Duck Episode: Hot Spells Reason: This episode was about Darkwing Duck and Gosalyn visiting Morgana's old school of witchcraft. A satanic character, references to the occult, a plot involving Gosalyn accidently selling her father's soul...Disney will probably never publicly air this episode again.

I think I've seen that episode air a few times when the Disney Afternoon was still active.

The Jimmy Two-Shoes segment entitled “The Big Drip” was banned by Disney XD due to its subject matter involving the title character needing to use the restroom. However, I suspect that various characters spouting “You pee sitting down?!” to Beezy had more to do with it getting banned. The series was picked up for a second season, which should premiere late this year or early next year, but it seems unlikely that they will ever air that first season segment.

Show: Tiny Toons Adventures Episode: Elephant Issues Reason: The third segment of this episode this episode, called "One Beer", featured Buster, Plucky, and Hampton all getting drunk, stealing a police car, and then driving off a cliff and "dying", all to promote alcohol awareness (it's on YouTube, they mention it in the end of the ep). Because of this, the episode was banned from TV and never aired again since it's original date. However, the series of "Tiny Toons" was not intended to include drug use.

Show: Bonkers Episode: New Partners on the Block Reason: Admittedly, Bonkers was always a series that'll be remembered for it's last minute corporate meddling (the "Miranda episodes" were testing poorly compared to the "Lucky episodes"), but this episode, intended to be the bridge between the two different continuities, was about Bonkers, Miranda and Lucky trying to catch Fireball Frank, a mad bomber. Understandably, this was pulled from syndication after 9/11/2001.

There's some evidence that "New Partners on the Block" may have been ban as early as 1995 after the Oklahoma City bombing which was until 9/11 the worst terrorist attack on American soil. (Fireball Frank does bear some eerie coincidencal resemblance to OKC bomber Timothy McVeigh, both being white American males attacking their own country). I remember that episode, as part of the transition a laser cannon or something used by Frank finally completely destroyed beyond repair that banger police car Lucky and Bonkers drove.
The executive meddling on Bonkers was a great example of why they have that and how often the executive ARE RIGHT! The "Miranda" episodes were made first but perceived (somewhat accurately) to be of low quality, leading to the retool of the later but aired first "Lucky" episodes which seemed to feature a stronger, more likeable cast of characters and some better plots.

Show: Cow and Chicken Episode: No Smoking Reason: This was the pilot episode of "Cow and Chicken". In this episode, the red guy was known as "The Devil", and he lived in Hell. This episode dealt with smoking, so when Cartoon Network officially made "Cow and Chicken" it's own series, they decided to ban the pilot episode thinking that it didn't deliver a good message to kids.
