Show: The Bullwinkle Show Episode: The Bullwinkle Puppet segments Reason: During one season in 1961, The Bullwinkle Show was hosted by a Bullwinkle puppet. At the end of one episode, the puppet didn't just say to tune in next week same time same channel to watch the show again, but he also told kids to pull the knobs off their TV's to make sure their TV's are set on that channel in time for next week's show. This was intended to be a joke, but little did the writers know, many kids actually did pull the knobs off their TV's! This resulted in a large amount of complaint letters from angry parents being sent to the creators of the show. So in the very next episode that aired the following week, the Bullwinkle puppet told the kids to glue the knobs back onto their TV's! After that episode aired, the Bullwinkke puppet was banned from the show and never seen again. Though some footage of the puppet can be found as bonus features on some rare Rocky & Bullwinkle DVD's.

I can’t believe we haven’t talked about this one yet!
Show: Dexter’s Laboratory Episode: Dexter’s Rude Removal Reason: Originally intended as an episode of Season 2, it was later decided this episode would never be aired at all. In the episode, Dexter makes an invention that was to remove rudeness from a person. He ends up using it on himself and Dee Dee, and they come out as well-mannered civilians, but the machine also made evil clones of them who are 100% rude and reek havoc around the house and do a lot of constant swearing. Even though the swearing was censored by censor beeps, the creators felt it might be a bad influence on kids and might encourage them to imitate the Rude forms of Dexter and Dee Dee. Another reason was because of the controversial title card, which showed Dexter mooning the camera and Dee Dee flipping the bird. In a nutshell, the episode was locked away in the Cartoon Network vault never to be released. Years later, the episode was found in the vault and aired on TV for the first time on Adult Swim, and it has since been uploaded onto YouTube numerous times. While it may not be forgotten anymore, it has an interesting history behind why it was lost in the first place.

Show: Peppa Pig Episode: Mister Skinny Legs Reason: The point of this episode was it was supposed to teach kids that spiders are not monsters but rather friends that are helpful and do a lot of good for the world.
This episode was banned in Australia because it is home to some species of arachnids that are truthfully some of the deadliest of their kind within the world--it would have been awful if some kids took this episode's advice to heart only for them to not know what they were dealing with.

Show: Tiny Toons Adventures Episode: Elephant Issues Reason: The third segment of this episode this episode, called "One Beer", featured Buster, Plucky, and Hampton all getting drunk, stealing a police car, and then driving off a cliff and "dying", all to promote alcohol awareness (it's on YouTube, they mention it in the end of the ep). Because of this, the episode was banned from TV and never aired again since it's original date. However, the series of "Tiny Toons" was not intended to include drug use. I read somewhere that this episode was restored in the 2013 DVD release of the series.

Yeah, I just saw that video, but there's tons of videos I've seen from that guy.
But this is strictly my opinion, I just don't see how that was banned, I mean if it's connected to 9/11 Yes, I can see that, but Spot hits the big fan, not the chow tower or the barn for that matter.

Show: Sesame Street Episode: Episode 0847 Reason: On February 10, 1976, there was an episode of Sesame Street where the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz pays a visit to Sesame Street looking for her broomstick, which she had lost. Margaret Hamilton reprised her role as the witch. While there, the witch causes chaos all over Sesame Street but soon learns to like it there. The episode received a lot of complaint letters that the episode terrified a lot of children. Since then, the episode has never resurfaced anywhere. Not even clips of the episode have resurfaced anywhere. The only footage that still exists is a still image of the witch standing with Oscar the Grouch (who develops a crush on the witch in the episode).
Show: Sesame Street Episode: Snuffy’s Parents Get a Divorce Reason: In 1992, the writers of Sesame Street we’re planning to air an episode where Snuffy’s parents get divorced. It was intended to teach children about the concept of divorce. Ultimately, the episode never aired as they felt kids wouldn’t understand it and would get the idea there may be the chance their parents wouldn’t love them anymore. And this is coming from the same show that had episodes that taught kids about the concept of death and natural disasters.

Show: Alvin and the Chipmunks Episode: Cookie Chomper III Reason: In this episode from the final season, the Chipmunks adopt a kitten and name her Cookie Chomper III. They keep her a secret from Dave, but Dave eventually finds out about her and decides to let the boys keep her despite his allergies. Later on in the episode, Cookie wanders off, and Dave finds out that she was hit by a car. Theodore gets so upset over Cookie’s death that he doesn’t want to believe it; he thinks she is still out there and believes it was another cat who got killed. Despite Dave’s efforts to convince Theodore that Cookie is dead, Theodore is still in denial. Eventually, he does accept that she’s dead, and the boys all blame themselves for her death. When the series was canceled and put into syndication, this episode was rarely shown on television again as TV executives felt bringing in the concept of death would be too emotional for kids, especially with how well Theodore took it.

Show: The Simpsons Episode: Goo Goo Gai Pan Reason: In this episode the family travels to China to help Marge's sister Selma adopt a Chinese baby.
Understandably, this episode was banned in China for many reasons, but particularly for an unfavorable reference to Chinese emperor Mao Zedong, scenes that parody the Tiananmen Square Massacre and a line about Tibet being independent.

Sounds like an interesting idea to discuss! =3 Yeah, i know this episode. I actually think they thought too hard on that. I mean, if it was two windmills standing next to each other and two planes crashed with explosions, and then there was a giant smoke cloud with the windmill coming down and death occuring, maybe. But since the tower didn't collapse nor did the plane explode or any death occur. I find it disappointing, we lost a VERY Good episode of the Series =3 That & "Prima Dog" were Very good episodes =3 So it wasn't terrorists flying plan into a building, it was a giant jellyfish! For crying out, it's a Giant monster attack, of course buildings are going to get destroyed. By that logic, almost every single Godzilla movie or episode to that Power Rangers thing, should be banned! o.O Woah, that's a bit of a stretch. I mean, there is a Disney ride called "Tower of Terror" In fact there are 4 of them across the world. Doesn't mean Disney would ban people from riding it due to 9/11 references. I agree with you on these statements

Show: UniKitty! Episode: Sick Day Reason: In this episode, Dr. Fox catches a "common cold" and does whatever she has to do to be rid of it, the whole time ignoring the pleas from UniKitty, Puppycorn, Hawkodile and Richard to take the day off and rest.
This episode was banned from air in the United States due to the fact it was unintentionally similar to the COVID-19 pandemic. Oddly enough, it aired in other countries.

Show: Bluey Episode: Dad Baby Reason: This episode was banned because it contained a character saying "Ooga booga", which received some complaints because that term contained some racial connotations. As a result, this episode cannot be viewed on Disney Junior or on Disney+ in the U.S.
Show: Bluey Episode: Family Meeting Reason: Intended as a Season 3 episode, this episode was decided to not be shown in the U.S. because it contained topics about farting, which was deemed inappropriate for a preschool series.

Disney did ban "Dad Baby" and there was two episodes removed from "ooga booga" but that was different cases. "Dad Baby" got ban because Disney was a bit iffy on the story line (Bandit the Dad pretends to be pregnant). "Teasing" and "Flat Pack" were the episodes removed for the word.
