Show: The Simpsons Episode: A Streetcar Named Marge Reason: This episode was about Marge getting involved in a play called A Streetcar Named Desire, a culture clash drama where she would play Blanche DuBois, a Southern belle conflicting with Stanley Kowalski, a industrial working class man in New Orleans, shown as a run-down hellhole. While the episode had song lyrics that don't portray the city in a very flattering light, after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, this episode had to disappear for a while.

Like Trey said, The Episode was only absent "For A While".
So, You can tell, A While has past. So I guess it's safe to show this Episode now then. X3

Wow. I can't believe you're a Simpsons fan too, bab. Not that I don't want you to be, but I've known you to dedicate most of your fandom to 101 Dalmatians.

Just because I love "101 Dalmatians" with it as my, #1 Favorite Franchise of all time and am 101% dedicated to loving it, doesn't mean I can't watch or enjoy anything else either. o.O
I sometimes watch it if it is on, however I will agree with most people saying that the Simpsons have been crashing down in the recent Semi-Decade.
Still, Back on subject with, Banned Episodes. X3

Show: The Powerpuff Girls Episode: See Me, Feel Me, Gnomey Reason: This is the series finale. It was originally intended to be part of Season 4, and in this episode, everyone sings. Actually, there are TWO reasons, so here we go: Reason 1: There is an undertone of communism VS capitalism. Reason 2: Several scenes in this episode have a rapidly flashing background, so I think CN was concerned that kids would get seizures from watching (like a certain episode of Pokemon).

Hey, Pups. =3
I was checking on my Sky+ Box this morning, since I have recorded some Episodes of "101 Dalmatians The Series". X3 They still show it in the UK, But at 11PM. =S
Still, I was looking at what I recorded yesterday, and it seems, they showed the banned Episode "Alive N Chicken/Primma Dog". =3 So, I guess they've seen sense now, not only by putting the Series back on their network, but by allowing that episode to be shown too.
Still, What other Bans of Episodes do you Pups know of? =3

I'm pretty sure your country is likely to get the series on DVD too, while my country is not, and due to region coding, I won't be able to watch it if I buy it over there! Wait, what am I talking about? Envy is a deadly sin!

Heh, guys, listen to this. I'm on Wikipedia right now, searching banned episodes. It turns out that Pokemon has it's own banned episode article. Who would've thought!? Here's the article for anyone interested: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banned_episodes_of_Pokémon

All I remember are two
1) Electric Soldier Porygon- Because of the flashes in the episode. A lot of children in Japan suffered seizures
and
2) The Legend of Dratini- The Warden has a gun y'all run for your life!!!

I just remembered, A few years ago, when they aired the Episode. The Very next day, they had to give a message saying "We apologise that we showed an episode with some offensive material..." When I was younger, I didn't understand what was so offensive. But now you mention the, New Orleans thing, I guess it makes sense. o.o If I think of more episodes, I'll let you know. X3 Looking forward to hearing more on this subject. *Hugs* X3

Show: Hawaii Five-O Episode: Bored She Hung Herself Reason: This second-season episode of the iconic American cop show vanished shortly after its original AND ONLY airing in 1970. The episode dealt with some "yoga" that boar more than a passing resemblance to a certain type of extremely dangerous pleasure-related asphyxiation. After the episode aired a viewer tried it and was killed in the process leading the episode to vanish forever. It's even missing from the Hawaii Five-O 2nd Season DVD boxset released roughly 37 years later.
