So if I was to update my first thoughts on the animated films of this year, this is what I would have said:
Early Man - Let’s see what you got, Aardman. Sherlock Gnomes - FAIL! Isle of Dogs - This looks awesome! Sgt. Stubby - Should be cute. Duck Duck Goose - What? Animal Crackers - After all the delays, I hope it’ll be worth it. The Incredibles II - It’s about time! Hotel Transylvania 3 - Not another one! Teen Titans GO! To the Movies - Can I get something based on a better cartoon? Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups - Okay, that’ll do. Small Foot - 90% chance it’ll suck. The Grinch - Is this really necessary? Ralph Breaks the Internet - A sequel to this? Uh...okay. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - Oh, great! Another superhero flick!

Thus far we have 3 more major animated films coming out this year.
On November 9 we will be getting Illumation's adaptation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Not sure how well this will turn out.

It was just announced that the animated films of this year have already been submitted for Oscar nominations for Best Animated Feature. This year, we have 25 films submitted, so we can guarantee there will be 5 nominations this year.
Most people are anticipating Incredibles II and Isle of Dogs to get nominated as well as Ralph Breaks the Internet, even though that one hasn’t been released yet. Same with Spider-Man, there seems to be a lot of demand for that one to get nominated, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t homestly.
What really surprises me is one of the films that has been submitted for nomination is Teen Titans Go to the Movie’s! Really? They didn’t submit the My Little Pony movie, but they did submit Teen Titans? Well, either way, I doubt it’ll get nominated because let’s be honest here...Since when do animated films based on TV shows get nominated for Oscars?

I have seen some Trailers, for the Grinch, but some thing that surprises me is that he has a Reindeer! I thought the reason, he use Max, for his plan, is cause he could not find a Reindeer? You can tell, they are going to be changing a lot, for this Film, Eh?
I also hear that Benedict Cumberbatch shall be the voice of the Grinch. Is this correct, Pups!?

I plan to go see it just to see how it compares to the Chuck Jones cartoon and the Ron Howard film, so hopefully, I’ll get some answers to your questions.
Though yes, that actor is voicing the Grinch, even though I’ve never heard of him.

Benedict Cumberbatch is a Well Known Performer, Belchic.
He is Doctor Strange, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Sherlock, in the B B C Show; Smaug in the Hobbit Films; and Khan in Star Trek In To Darkness.
I am sure, You Know some of those, do you, Belchic!?

Given he seems to be faking an American accent for this one it seems weird they went with Cumberbatch for this, but I'm sure he'll nail it.
I'm not sure what the deer/moose is for but by all the trailers when it comes time to try and steal Christmas it's the Grinch and Max, together again.

The fact that the reindeer is prominently eating whipped cream troubles me. Just like the marshmallows in The Lorax.
I will also say it's not going to be the first time the Grinch was played by a non-American, after all Jim Carrey was born in Canada.

Well we are on the verge of getting Illumation's newest adapatation of a Dr. Seuss story, How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
And? Well, it's Rotten Tomatoes score is just good enough for them to recommend, at 62%.
I was planning to see this one, hopefully it's going to at least be better than The Lorax.

Well, the Grinch is Dr. Suess’ most beloved character, so I would think it would get better reception than The Lorax.
I’m hoping to see a trailer for Secret Life of Pets 2 when I go see this movie. (By the way, the original now has a score of 74% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is higher than it was two years ago, so that’s a good sign).

Just want to let you all know, it’s going to be a little while before I go see Ralph Breaks the Internet. I probably won’t see it until midway through the week after Thanksgiving. My uncle is visiting from out of town on Thanksgiving weekend, and he’s going to be staying with us all weekend. So I’ll need to demote a lot of my time that weekend.

I did go and see the new Grinch last night.
Honestly, I thought it was okay. You won't disagree with me in that it did not need to be done but it was most certainly tolerable.
It works best when it's following Dr. Seuss's source material and the rest felt like padding. Plus, I started to feel like Cindy Lou Who was being cast almost like Agnes from Despicable Me.
So, if you guys want to see it go ahead. It's not going to overthrow the Chuck Jones classic but at the very least it's not a soulless corporate by-product like The Lorax.
