(An old yellow school bus, now rusted badly and painted with long faded spots, slowly makes its way onto the streets of London.)
Voice: Twenty-plus years of Bark Brigade service. Combat medals. Citations. Only dog to in the last several decades with more than 101 DeVil defeats on their record...
(The voice is revealed to be an aged and decrepit Lt. Pug. He sits behind a desk.)
Lt. Pug: Yet your friends have long since gone on, you can’t get a promotion, you won’t retire, and despite your best efforts, you stubbornly refuse to die. You should be at least a Lieutenant General by now, but here you are, still just a captain. Why is that?
(The camera pans to reveal who's he's talking to. An aged but still ready for action adult Lucky wearing a black collar.)
Lucky: It’s one of life’s mysteries, sir.
Lt. Pug: Why take this one?
Lucky: There's dalmatians in need and I've never been one to leave a dog behind. Old or new, I'm not going to rest until the DeVils are down for the count for good this time.
(Quickly we get a montage of Lucky suiting back up for action as he switches to the old red collar and even pulls out his "Luckybolt" tag and "Baypup" shades. On a rainy day a set of white paws walk slowly down a sidewalk. Lucky looks up at a street sign. It reads "Dalmatian Street." He looks over to a familiar house. He rings the doorbell and Dylan answers.)
Dylan: 101 Dalmatian Street if you've got the kibble put it in the...
(Looks up at Lucky and his jaw drops.)
Dylan: Great-grandpa Lucky? You're not...
Lucky: Not just yet. I hear you've got a Hunter DeVil who needs to hunted down.
Dolly: Dylan, is that the kibble dog? Why are you acting like he's a...
(turns the corner and only realizes who he's talking to as she rounds the corner still talking.)
Dolly: ...living legend.
(In another quick montage we see Lucky trying his best to train the next generation with still applicable tactics from an earlier, pre-Internet phase. He definitely sees a little of Cadpig in Deepak and some Rolly in Diesel but much more of himself in Dylan and Dolly. The next time Hunter comes to cause some trouble the new pups will be ready for him.)
Lt. Pug: The end is inevitable Luckless. Our era is headed for extinction.
Lucky: Maybe so sir...but not today.
(The 101 Dalmatian Street Logo forms only to quickly change to...)
101 Dalmatians: Lucky
COMING SUMMER 2020
Dylan: So you didn't do the "all D names" thing back then?
Lucky: Nah, there were enough of us causing trouble as it was without trying to confuse everyone with similar names.
Dylan: Weird.
Well, what do you guys think? Would you want to see Lucky answer the call to action one last time? This whole thing is designed to be a little spoof on the new trailer for "Top Gun: Maverick" that came out last week with another famous hero coming back...
