We just got The Incredibles 2.
It's looking great! It's Rotten Tomatoes score is currently 93%, and my local newspaper gave it a four star review!
I have made my plans for tonight!

Unfortunately, I won’t be seeing it today since my grandmother’s funeral is today. I’m not sure when I’ll get the chance to see it. Hopefully soon.

Hey guys. Last night I did get to see The Incredibles 2.
And? It was definitely a good movie. If you wanted me to give it a grade, seeing as I gave the first movie a B+, I will give this one a B+ as well.
The Bao short was a bit weird but it didn't affect the main feature. In addition I did see some trailers for other upcoming animated features and I'll give my thoughts based solely on the trailer:
The Grinch looks like it will probably be another Lorax--a disappointment.
The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part should be more Lego fun.
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World might be good.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2… I will admit I was biting my nails a bit, as some aspects of it seemed to recall the horrors of The Emoji Movie. If they play it smart and don't overuse the corporate logos and emo-speak it should be good.

I see AniMatt has already reviewed it.
I’m not going to be able to see it for a long time, so please no spoilers!

Guess what, guys? I just saw The Incredibles 2! I must say, it was for sure a worthy successor to its predecessor.
Not to give too much away, but Disney has sort of made it a new tradition to have a surprise twist villain in all their movies, and after seeing it done in Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, Zootopia and Coco, I went into the theater sort of expecting that, and I was able to figure out who the villain was well before the reveal (pretty much right when the character was first introduced)! Who would’ve thought Disney would start taking the murder mystery route and stick with it?
As for the short, Bao, it felt mildly interesting at first, then it suddenly became creepy, then it got weird, but towards the end, I finally understood it.
I also saw AniMatt’s review. He gave it a solid 9/10 along with his Seal of Approval. (Seriously, that guy has no taste. Why must his opinion always match the universal opinion?)
So right now, here are his rankings of the animated films of this year:
1. The Incredibles II - 90% 2. Isle of Dogs - 90% 3. Early Man - 67% 4. Sgt. Stubby - 63% 5. Sherlock Gnomes - 43%
Literally, Incredibles II and Isle of Dogs Both got the exact same scores from him (categories and all)!
With what’s still to come, I predict Duck Duck Goose and HT3 will both get his Seal of Garbage and WIR2 will get his Seal of Approval. As for the rest, we’ll see.

I just read that The Incredibles 2 just made $180 million in ticket sales.
With movies this and Avengers: Infinity War Disney is going to have one amazing summer.

To paraphrase a certain line about casinos, "The Mouse always wins in the end."

I have been able to see; Incredibles II, when on Vacation.
I can definately post that it is a good Film and definately worth a watch. You can see how much C G I Animation has developed, since Incredibles I; The Animation looks beautiful and has much more detail on them, than in Incredibles I.
Though, the strong part of Incredibles II is the Characters. Each Character has their own Story Arc and get a good number of Scenes, both when casual and when Super.
Like Belchic posts; It does have the Twist Antagonist case. It does make me wonder, if in future, it shall be a twist, where the one we think shall be the Antagonist, is the actual Antagonist?
The Bao Piece is also good, and I think any Parent shall be able to sympathise with what happens in it.
The Theater, I was in, did have an Audience that did make large reactions, so some lines were difficult to hear, but I was able to get what is up, in the Film.
Like I post, though; Incredibles II is a good Film and is worth a watch.
What you think of the Film, Pups!?

Glad to hear you liked it babclayman.
The next animated film is not going to be a good entry... we are getting Hotel Transylvania 3.
These were my initial first thoughts:
The Incredibles 2 - That'll be cool! Hotel Transylvania 3 - And that'll suck.

Wow. I’m surprised AniMatt already reviewed Hotel Transylvania 3. And his verdict? Well...
Story: 2/10 Animation: 5/10 Characters: 3/10
He never liked the first two and claims this to be the worst of the trilogy, so it should come as no surprise that this movie got his SEAL OF GARBAGE!
So now, here are his scores:
1. The Incredibles II - 90% 2. Isle of Dogs - 90% 3. Early Man - 67% 4. Sgt. Stubby - 63% 5. Sherlock Gnomes - 43% 6. Hotel Transylvania 3 - 33%
So this one currently ranks as his pick for the worst one of the year. Let’s see how well the rest of the animated films of this year rank.

I wasn't expecting much. It's not a terribly good film series. It definitely has a niche but it's hardly art.

I kinda doubt the next major animated film will be better.
Because the next one is going to be one the Web is dreading.
Teen Titans GO! to the Movies.
